Should It Be Hard To Be A Christian?
71Come Follow Me - The Savior Said...
Do I Really Have To Behave Like A Good Little Girl Today?
Most of what I write here on HubPages as LdsNana-AskMormon, although from my perspective... is 'about' a particular topic on Mormonism that I feel passionate about.
Today... I just would like to do, some 'old fashion' blogging. I really hope you don't mind.
I was just thinking about everything that has been going on with my relationship, here at Hub-Pages - with Admin and other writers around the Hub. Most of you, are most likely aware of the thread down in the forums that I posted about a day ago...
We need to bring Hubtivity into the light...
I have felt, that because three of my Hubs, being 'flagged' in the space of about 12 hours - could not possibly be normal.
The first one, was a second hit or flag, in just over a week... I thought "What is going on?" But, before I could turn around and say 'WHY'? Two more hubs were flagged... for duplicate content...
Regardless of...
Passions Of The Natural Man Or Woman...
I am sorry, but that is when my own RED flag flew UP! I felt that some answers were needed. Each time I 'attempted' to say "hey guys.. not duplicate content... let me explain"... I felt that I was being seen as a 'troublemaker'.
Now, anyone who writes... knows, that 'all' writers in 'general' are troublemakers in one way or another. LOL No matter which way you cut it, intention aside... whatever we write, that has substance, will bristle someone else. That is just the way it is... an Absolute. And there really are very few 'absolutes'. But this is most definitely one of them.
Well, dog-on-it... I feel that I have rustled a few feathers around here. You can decide the 'why' for that one. But, because of that 'why' - I honestly believe that the 'system' for flagging and giving thumbs UP or DOWN, should be brought up and into our Hubtivity results. It is my personal experience and opinion, that this system that is for our 'good' and overall positive purpose in maintaining a website overall of integrity... IS being abused by a small handful.
Learning About Differences And Accepting Them...
Many of you, who are in a benign situation, may just think... whatever? Until the system has been used 'negatively' toward you... perhaps I am singing to no one but myself. And isn't that the beauty of blogging.
So, just for today... I shall sing in my own shower on this one. I don't like what has happened here. But, I still really like Hub-Pages, and what they have made available to those, who desire to have their voices heard. Poor admin - If they could just quiet my voice a bit. Today... sorry, but I am a middle child and cannot help myself...
I shall always be a middle child, literally and figuratively.
My title.... Sometimes, it is Really hard - to be a Christian. Why that title? Well, let me cry the blues just for one small itsy bitsy moment for those who are allowing me their precious time..
Okay, I can hear some of you right now saying "The reason it is hard for YOU to be a Christian, is because you're NOT". (I hear --- you ---but, I --am --- ignoring -- you... I sang that response:-) Not to be rude... sorry, today - I am tired.
Tired of, at times, not saying out-loud, what I feel inside... that is NOT CHRISTIAN!
HE IS THE LIGHT AND LIFE OF THE ENTIRE WORLD!
True Christians Stand Together In All Things That Oppose Jesus Christ...
There you have it...
Does that mean, because at times, a person has to fight back wanting to say something that surely they will regret; and who says that they ARE a Christian -- has now made it verifiable... (to those few) that they are NOT A CHRISTIAN?
SIGH.... This is my thinking today.
Superman came along and saved me today! I thank him publicly - for his Christian integrity, that blew me away! When I grow up, I want to be just like him... at least this part of him, that is and was Christlike today...
I think you all should meet this man. Regardless of our differences in How we believe, we both believe in What Jesus Christ taught and How He desires that ALL of those who claim discipleship, should then be accountable.
By their fruits, ye shall know them. I say this a lot, in many of my Hubs. Perhaps that is the duplicate content, of which I actually am guilty of here on the Hub???
Today, I really loved the fruit that I experienced personally - of a beautiful Christian - who knows Jesus Christ. I recognized him immediately. His was light, in a dimly it space.
The world at large would see divisiveness amongst true Christians. I won't allow this in my little world, here on the Hub. I will continue to find harmony with all those who claim, and live the fruits of Christianity -- regardless of denomination.
Those who are true Christians, will see right through this divisiveness and who is behind it. No matter what, we will Stand together... and this is how we will know each other - regardless of all else that would divide us from each other!
ONLY THROUGH HIS GRACE AND MERCY, CAN WE BE ONE.
Repentance Is A Gift That Allows Us To Forgive One Another And Become More Christ-Like...
Today... I will close the book on my hurt feelings; those that would tempt me to say that which I already regret even thinking about another.
We, each one of us - perceive the world - in ways that only we can understand. It is my hope, that through continued association with my fellow Hubbers; that I will learn what they all can teach me.... and challenge me on in my personal 'claim' to and of Christianity.
Thank you Hubbers - for causing me to reach deep down, and prove my Christianity... not doctrinally or denominationally - but as an individual who testifies of Jesus Christ, and desires discipleship with Him, by following His teachings...

Hi LdsNana-AskMormon, I was moved by your compassionate plea for understanding. I don't know what all happened, but I would like to add an objective voice to this. I have read many of your hubs and found them an asset to hubpages. I am glad this 'thing' doesn't make you bitter. Your spirit seem to be thriving in spite of it. May our Lord and Savior continue to bless you.
Nana
I also am sorry that your HUBS were flagged, and upon some investigation of my own, re-reading them for duplicate content (as I posted on one of your HUBS) I am convinced they are truly your words. Unfortunately sucess for one brings out jealousy in others. I would have thought that was solely the case, because of the fact that your popularity with Google has soared. However, what has gone from a personal attack on you, has now expanded to all MORMONS in general by recent publication of a certain HUB. I feel that HUBBER has shown very bad form. If you don't agree with a person's opinion then the "Christian" like quality would be to simply say "no thank you" or " this is good for you, not for me." Then again, I know those posting the HUB and commenting on it do not profess to even be "Christian." I have also seen a marvelous thing happen in the HUB, where a christian of another faith came to the aid of a fellow christian. This was totally cool. Stand tall in your beliefs and continue posting your views. To those who are truly interested, they will become enlightened to others, well, they will become enraged. This has proven to be true. My meager attempt to write is purely for an expression of what I know, and has become a means to solidify my own personal beliefs in many areas, for such a reason as this I write on HUBPAGES. I have become more educated in many other areas by reading the thoughts of other people's creations, their HUBS, and have generally seen many kind comments, for this reason I read HUBPAGES. Let's hope that a few bad apples will not spoil the whole bunch. I know this is my own opinion, but I believe that those who will search for themselves will see that you have been wrongly accused of something you did not do, you are in good company. "Turn the other cheek" my friend, and "push forward with steadfastness in Christ."
Why not just give a mini course in how to become a Disciple? That will fix up anyones mood.
All I can say is ..... The LIGHT offends the Dark!!
Dear TdsNana, Christianity is the very basic religion which preaches the basic needs of our life such as sacrifice, love, patience, give and take policy and humanity. We have to bear some thing until we get complete success in our every part of our life.
Don't let it get you.I know you have been getting attacked by those that feel your denomination is a cult.I have a very hard time with that.I am not and never will be a Morman but we who trust and rely on our savior Jesus Christ must stand together against the wiles of satan.
Don't let it get you!we Know who wins!!!!!
Nana,
First of all let me say I am not a LDS.
For many years i thought I was the understudy of Job.
There was just a little bit of time I carried that Chip on my shoulder.
I have ready the bible every day for the last 50 years (two old testament ansd one new testament chapter, repeated next year.)
The two greatest commandments Christ gVE US "LOVE YOUR GOD"
"Love your neighbour like you love yourself"
I respect your Love of GOD as a LDS.
I will not debate the pros and cons of your belief, sufficient to say I don't believe in the LDS philosophy.
I might add, that I have very rarely been in to that hubtivity scene, It was only because I like your hubs, that I knew of the pot boiling over.
There are some people that can hurt us physically or mentally, even spiritually.
I say practice you love for them internally, ignore them and do not defend yourself.
Christ did not defend himselof, when he was facing Pilate prior to his crucification.
There are times to be strident or soundless. You will have to teach yourself to be patient.
Please don't take it to heart. Simon did say 'They know not what they do."
Be of good cheer and resolute. Turn the other cheek 4999 times if need be.
Another suggestion from the out field . I cinsider I am patient
You are extremely patient.
You have shown them love interally,
you have ignored them.
My question is Why are you persisting?
What do you hope to gain?
If you do gain?
Just a small silly question! Do you want to have a wholesale conversion to LDS?
Anyway good luck and best wishes.
Don't let hurt, hurt you and get you down. Look on the brightside and concentrate on what you do best and make that even better. Love - spread love and share love. Let it bloom in your heart and sow its seed in all you do. Look forward to some great hubs Nana, I am sure you are capable.
Hi Nana, I was wondering if I can use this hub with a new hub I want to publish? Hope all is well with the google fairies.
exactly why I love you Nana! Give your grandchildren a blessing for me.

I am sorry that you are being flagged. Let me say something. You felt attacked, yes? Were you really attacked or had you considered it an accident and that the person inside of you wanted to place blame on someone or something else?
You dont have to prove your a christian outwardly, the best kept in faith are the ones who know it and keep it safe in thier hearts. It is always when someone wants to prove something that "the devil" arises.
Have peace in your heart first, and then precieve. Its hard to ignore the Devil, but it is easy to have peace in God. I am sure you werent flagged for any particular reason...being that you love to talk about Jesus.
